The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls focuses on character development to prepare girls for responsible and purposeful adulthood. Through unselfish community service, higher ideals in life, and teamwork, girls are encouraged to develop effective interpersonal communications. While the practices and programs of the Rainbow for Girls continue to evolve, the core teachings of faith, hope, and charity remain fundamental to this dynamic youth group.

In 1922, Rainbow for Girls was established to support young women whose fathers were members of the Masonic Lodge, along with their friends. Since November 1951, the world headquarters for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls has been situated in McAlester, Oklahoma. This magnificent building, constructed with the support of Rainbow Girls, serves as a hub for character development and community service initiatives.
At the heart of our organization are our key values of love, service, and patriotism, among many others. We strive to build the leaders of tomorrow by empowering girls through character development, while teaching them the importance of community service and sisterhood.
For over 100 years, Oklahoma Rainbow for Girls has provided a nurturing space for girls to grow, express themselves, forge lasting friendships, and receive mentorship that helps them become their best selves.
